Here’s how the pool works:
- Download the spreadsheet and decide which pools you want to play.
- Fill out the entry forms for the pools you want to play.
- Email your spreadsheet to the email listed on the ‘Finish Here’ tab before the Sunday at 2PM (Central time) deadline.
- I input everyone’s picks and email everyone the Score Sheet which will allow you to see everyone’s picks.
- You can then use the Score Sheet to update the scoring live, for all pools simultaneously, by selecting announced winners from a single drop down menu.
If you want to play for real money I’ll have to send you instructions for where to send your payment (comment below or use the contact form to get me your email). Otherwise anyone who sends in a completed entry form will be entered into a play money pool.

There’s still time since it only takes a few minutes to fill out an entry form, and copying everyone’s picks into the score sheet is super quick and takes less than a minute per entry form.

Where can I get the score sheet?
Good question, Sean. I’m still integrating some changes into the score sheet. If you’re looking to run your own Oscar pool using these sheets I can get you a version of the entry sheet that you can customize (i.e. change the prices of the pools and choose which ones you want to offer), and then make sure you also have a score sheet before the event. If you’re running a pool, inputting the picks is real easy. You just copy one column from the “Picks” tab and paste it into the score sheet and the score sheet takes care of all the rest.
I am looking to run my own pool. I’d really appreciate getting a score sheet, that would be awesome.
Awesome, Sean. Here’s a link to download a customizable version of the spreadsheet in case you want to change any of the buy-in amounts or choose not to run any of the pools. With this spreadsheet you can change everything from the Settings tab and then just hide any tabs for a pool you don’t want to run.

i am running my own pool amongst friends and would like a scoresheet. the above link is broken.
